Southend Central Museum and Planetarium (Southend Museums Service)

About Us

Southend Central Museum, the headquarters of Southend Museums Service, houses our collections of archaeology, natural and social history. The displays reflect the story of the town's growth as a major seaside destination and its rich natural history and fishing heritage.

The Planetarium provides a varied selection of talks about astronomy and the night sky. All the presentations are given live, with ample opportunity for questions.
